Part of what I'd like to see is everyday people get geeked about physics such that it's accessible: Peter Jalowiczor is a gas worker by trade!

Einstein created the modern age with a pad and a piece of paper (loads crumpled and thrown away) while working in a patent office, at a very LOW point of his life. This is inspiring!
