National Geographic will air its special on Atlantis 15 March 2011 7 PM EST. The team of archeologist propose they've found the elusive city of myth off the coast of Spain.
How is this about physics?
It's not.
Atlantis has been the object of speculation about ancient astronauts (a theory I do NOT support, but is the source of the modern myth of Superman), hence exotic technologies, literary, movie/TV spin offs and vacation destinations.
The cities of Babel and Troy used to be considered myths before they were discovered.
I like to think (following the Scientific Method) a lot of former legends, myths or truths can be proven or disproven through reason...
