...the era when spaceflight became so commonplace that launches except for space enthusiasts were ignored until disaster within the margin of statistical error struck.

We would give pause, mourn our heroic dead until the modern media turned its attention to other salacious tidbits that I can't really call...news!

I hope we have not become too complacent; too comfortable with technology that offers immediate gratification, and self-centered in our own lives that our exploration genome...is oxidizing.
