This posting is not promoting a false hope, but efforts towards understanding the progression of HIV to AIDS are being undertaken. The more we understand about this disease, the more lives will be saved. Science is playing an integral part in that.
The concept of constructing a mathematical model to understand this particular disease fascinated me! Take a deep breath and don't let yourself be intimidated by the derivations, but on page 4, I dare you not to recognize equation 25.
