OK...obvious I look at a certain news anchor a lot.
I had a student in high school that planned to "tear up everything" on December 21, 2012. My question to him was: "what happens when you find your happy butt in jail December 22, 2012?" He didn't have an answer.
Students tend to be suceptible to gossip on "the Google," without a search strategy and/or a way to discern the meat from "the bunk."
To further debunk "2012" here's two scientist - an astrobiologist and astrophysicist - and the fact that I plan to be blogging on December 22,...23... (breaking Christmas Eve/Day) 2012, etc, ad nauseum, and thereafter.
